The 18.5 oz. deep indigo selvedge is a perfect example of super-heavy-weight, high contrast fading potential and comfort, all packed in one single fabric. The deep dye will keep the fabric dark where it doesn't fade, resulting in higher Contrast at the creases after wear. The construction is tight, giving it a longer break-in time, but will soften up with wear.
Kurabo Denim has woven this 100% cotton fabric for us with a special light blue selvedge ID, to set it apart from other fabrics. This is our fourth BENZAK-exclusive fabric already; that's why we are aptly calling it the special #4, for which we have chosen a dark green colored label to match the subtle green cast tone of the warp yarns.
Together with Kurabo Denim from Japan, we have created our fourth proprietary fabric. This 18.5 oz. deep indigo selvedge denim, dubbed 'special #4', is a fabric that definitely leans towards the heavier side in regard to weight. The heaviest BENZAK fabric available as of this moment in time. So whether you're a heavyweight champion or a newcomer in the heavy-denim-department, the special #4 arguably is one of the better ways to kick off 2021.
