Description.
Regular fit jeans with a straight leg made in organic Japanese selvage denim from Kurabo.
The 'Black' and 'Blue' pieces explore what born our unfailing love for denim. As such, we crafted them from the finest organic Japanese selvage denim, paired with vintage-inspired trims. We made the back pocket embryos with 3-color rainbow gradients, colors that remain while the denim evolves. Like a game of hide-and-seek, they will take turns in hiding while the others are out in the open. These pieces reflect our love for the ever-evolving soul of denim.
The 13.25 oz. black selvage denim used for these jeans is made by denim powerhouse Kurabo. The slightly slubby warp yarns have been dip-dyed 12 times, whereas the uniform weft yarns have been cone-dyed. This gives the warp yarn a clean white core that will crock off dye quicker than the weft. Giving the denim the ability to fade towards a clear gray hue while the weft, which mainly shows on the back of the fabric, will keep a darker shade that will show in the diagonal twill on the face of the fabric. The warp and weft yarns' different structures will make the fabric pucker slightly, giving it a salt 'n pepper look with highlighting grain at the warp slub that contrasts darker depots in between slubs. It's an incredibly nice pitch- black selvage denim, which we paired with dull-black, vintage-inspired, button and punch-through rivets. And just like the denim will crock color, so will the metal trims, revealing the underlying metal.
For Gritty Jackson Black Rainbow, this selvage denim has been paired with our dull-black vintage-inspired buttons, dull-black punch-through rivets and monochrome rainbow back pocket embryos. We are extremely proud to offer Gritty Jackson in this pitch-black Kurabo selvage denim, and we cannot wait to see it worn-in, washed-out, and torn-up.
As with all dry denim, we recommend at least 6 months of daily wear prior to the first wash. This is, of course, only a recommendation. Washing earlier and more frequently also renders great results, but make sure to either hand wash or use a gentle washing machine cycle. As long as you take care of your jeans, they will, in turn, reward you with an evolving patina that very well might render the best looking washed jeans you will ever have.

General Care & Precautions
Please note that all indigo product including raw denim can “bleed” causing the transfer of indigo blue color from your garments to other surface like white tshirt or light color shoes. The “bleeding” will lessen with wear and after first several washes.
We high recommend you to put all your cloth in a wash bag when doing laundry. Please never use tumble dry on quality goods; never use softener; never use detergent that contain bleach.
If possible, wash your cloth in a low-spin speed to protect the garment.
