The popover is a long standing 3sixteen style. This season 3sixteen opted to use a Japanese seersucker fabric. 3sixteen wanted to avoid the classic striping and find something that was muted in color so that the texture could be front and center. The texture itself comes from the warp threads being fed through the loom faster than the weft threads. The resulting puckering holds the fabric away from the skin, creating greater air circulation, which makes for a perfect warm weather shirt.
