A tapered straight type based on vintage Levi’ s 505.
This model has a slight taper fit below the knees even compared to our other tapered models, 710 and 713. Utilized the sanforized fabric, and this model is the only one with a zip front closure.

Founded in 2010, the brand is headed by Yoshiyuki Hayashi, a creator with 30 years of design experience, who even once had the title of "King of Denim". He used to be the founder and manager of "DENIME", one of the denim brands "Osaka Five Tigers". He is most famous for deconstructing and innovating classic trousers such as Levi's 66501 and reshaping their fashionable atmosphere.

However, after the brand was acquired by shareholders, the business direction changed. Hayashi San felt that the creative space was becoming more and more limited, so he resolutely sold "DENIME" and left the brand.

However, the passion for denim led Hayashi San to found RESOLUTE in 2010! The long-awaited fans were hooked, and finally they could experience the creation of the cowboy emperor again.

Jeans produced in Japan have always been highly regarded around the world. RESOLUTE is all carried out in Japan from yarn dyeing, weaving, sewing and other processes. For the fabric, please come to "DENIME", the world-renowned Okayama cloth factory "Shinya Mills" that we cooperated with during the period, and use the old-fashioned power loom exclusive to RESOLUTE to weave. Of course, the sewing process is even more unambiguous, and it is processed and manufactured by the "Okayama Niimi sewing center" that was once designated by Levi's Japan.

Born in 1956, Hayashi San yearned for a job at Levi's when he was young. After graduating from Kinki University, he started from the front-line retail and learned to make jeans through self-study. In 1988, he was invited to be the chief designer of "DENIME". After leaving "DENIME", the designer who created the denim trend founded RESOLUTE in 2010 with a deep affection for jeans.

Hayashi San himself is an excellent spokesperson for denim. Simple shirts and jeans can be said to be his classic outfits. In autumn, it looks good even if you only wear a pullover or a down vest; in winter, put on a coat and wear a fur hat and scarf.
