A timeless French workwear Jacket, so-called ‘Blue de Travail’, from Vetra, complete with traditional patch pockets and a standard collar. Since their establishment in 1927, the brand has continued to produce all of their items in their family-owned workshop.

French Work Jacket
French work jackets originated in the late 19th century, much like denim jeans. Initially worn by railroad workers, engineers, and other members of the working class, these garments were made from durable fabrics like twill or moleskin. Designed for both warmth and resilience, they were easy to repair with patches when damaged. The signature three- to four-pocket layout made it convenient to carry tools and small parts on the job.
