WYTHE
【WYTHE】Japanese Wabash Stripe Moleskin Chinos - Charcoal Smoke Pants
Product Description
Some of you may already be familiar with the Wabash Stripe, while others might be hearing the name for the first time. But if you’ve been following Wythe for a while, you’ve definitely seen the technique behind it.
The Wabash Stripe is a traditional discharge print, most commonly found on indigo-dyed fabrics. The technique traces back to the 1850s and is closely associated with Stifel, one of the most renowned names in historic American workwear.
Wythe’s new interpretation of this classic pattern uses a custom discharge-printed moleskin—not the typical fuzzy, soft moleskin that most brands use. This version is inspired by old French workwear moleskin: tougher, more durable, with almost no nap, and designed to break in beautifully with wear. The dotted stripe is also much finer and narrower than classic Wabash, giving the fabric a subtle salt-and-pepper appearance.
This was the very first fabric Wythe introduced in their wider straight-leg fit, and the pattern has since been expanded to other fabrics, including their deck cloth and Bedford cord.

General Care
Never use tumble dry on quality goods; never use softener; never use detergent that contain bleach.
If possible, always wash on the light cycle / gentle cycle or delicate cycleto prolong the garment life.
Please note that all indigo product including raw denim can “bleed” causing the transfer of indigo blue color from your garments to other surface like white Tshirt or light color shoes. The “bleeding” will lessen with wear and after first several washes. Wash dark jeans with dark cloth to avoid issues.
