BDD, which has been waiting for a long time, reproduces the jeans manufacturing method of a century ago with unshrunk fabric (Loomstate), and launched the BDD-006 loomstate denim 15 oz. RHT this fall, which is limited to 60 pieces worldwide.

In the production process of modern jeans, pre-shrinking treatment (Sanforization) is usually used to reduce the shrinkage of the fabric after it is put into the water. The method is to put the woven fabric into a pre-shrinking machine, shrink it with steam, and then send it to the conveyor belt. It is stretched and compressed by a series of rollers.

In addition, mercerization is also essential. The cloth is soaked in a high-concentration caustic soda solution and then washed off, which can make the cloth surface smoother and smoother.

BDD-006 loomstate denim 15 oz. RHT deliberately skipped the above procedures in the production process, and selected raw materials supplied by the old factory Collect Mills, showing a great shrinkage, full of fluffy, uneven uneven fabric, emphasizing the original purity of jeans, The workmanship is also full of details. The inner pocket is made of 11oz blue and black checked fabric, with a unique vegetable tanned cowhide label. The combination of the bright red brand name and the cow skull makes the leather label very attractive.

Size selection is often a major pain point for unshrunk fabrics. Due to the huge shrinkage rate, tragedies that are too large or too small often occur after being put into the water. For this, BDD considerately provides the original factory with a wash, and you can directly maintain it when you buy it home. Get up, don't have to worry about shrinkage.

NOTE: this garment has been pre-washed so there will be very minimal shrinkage left; therefore we recommend to order your regular BENZAK size. When unsure about your size, please check the measurement chart below.

  FIT
  The BDD-006 is a slim fitting silhouette with a modern low-rise, snug thighs and a consistent slim straight shape down the leg. Due to this, the BDD-006 is a versatile modernized slim fit suitable for the majority of body types.

  FABRIC
  After a fabric is woven, before it's cut & sewn into a new pair of jeans, it usually goes through a couple of processes like sanforization (pre-shrinking with steam) and mercerization (chemically removing of excess fibers), among others. however does not undergo any of these processes; instead, the 'state' of the fabric will not be altered from how it rolls off the 'loom' – hence the term 'loomstate'. Denim enthusiasts will consider this the purest form of denim because this is how denim was produced a century ago.

  Because buying the right size with unsanforized denim is usually very tricky and might require some trial & error, we have pre-washed the jeans in the factory, getting rid of the shrinkage. This means you will be able to enjoy the beautiful fabric structure and hairy surface of unsanforized denim, without having to worry about shrinkage and wear them fresh out of the box.
