In order to create the perfect heavyweight Tee, Freenote cooperated with an old knitting factory in California, and specially used carded cotton yarn in the production. The irregular fibers strengthened the retro feeling of the fabric. In addition, because Freenote has very high requirements for color rendering, regardless of saturation and gloss, it has a set of standards that it considers to be perfect. Even though it has a strong American retro tone, Freenote does not overemphasize the physique in the tailoring of the version, but focuses on the modification of the body shape. The thickness of 9oz and the slightly loose wearing feel are absolutely suitable for all seasons.

The latest addition to our knit program has been a long time coming. We worked with a local knitting factory to develop our newest heavy weight t-shirt. The 9 oz cotton knit has an open ended fiber which gives the shirt a much drier, vintage look. We have been collecting a color palate for close to a decade, looking for the perfect shades of our favorite colors. All of our t-shirt colors are custom and unique to Freenote.
Perfecting the fit of a knit is surprisingly difficult. The fabric can move and stretch with limited seams to control it. We have spent years making adjustments until we landed on what we consider to be the perfect fit. This t-shirt has a great balance of being not too slim and not too boxy. Because our t-shirts are not tubular, they have more shape from the chest to the bottom hem.
