The jeans feature period-correct details such as new custom-made iron donut buttons with a laurel wreath motif, unmarked punch-through rivets, and indigo herringbone pocket lining.

Unlike many WWII reproductions that intentionally mimic the rough stitching of mass-produced wartime garments, Fullcount takes a different approach. These jeans are sewn with precise and controlled thread tension, producing clean construction while creating strong puckering along the seams. The stitching is finished in a subtle yellow-tone gradation that adds depth to the classic indigo fabric and enhances the visual character that will continue to develop beautifully with wear.

WWII Jean Model

WWII model jeans were redesigned by Levi's and other manufacturers due to strict U.S. government mandates during World War II to conserve raw materials like metal, fabric, and thread for the war effort. These changes, effective mainly from 1942 to 1946, simplified production while allowing civilian clothing output to continue.

WWII model jeans typically feature a relaxed straight silhouette with a high rise, roomy thighs, and straight legs. The denim is usually around 13–14oz Japanese selvedge denim dyed using rope-dye techniques that create deep indigo tones with white yarn cores, producing dramatic fading over time.

Characteristic details include a button fly with iron laurel or donut buttons, single yellow stitching, exposed or hidden iron rivets (coin pockets typically omit rivets due to wartime metal rationing), single-stitch arcuates on back pockets without bar tacks, and pocket bags made from materials such as olive HBT or flannel. The denim is often one-washed to reduce shrinkage and may retain unsinged textures, resulting in a hairy surface and natural twisting that resembles true vintage denim.

Fullcount 0105 Fit

The 0105 model evolved from the previous “1953 MODEL.” The silhouette is now considerably wider and emphasizes a relaxed hip-hang look. Fullcount increased the difference between the front and back rise, allowing the jeans to sit comfortably while maintaining a vintage-inspired balance.

Although the hip area is roomier, the pattern is carefully designed so the front remains clean without excessive bulk, while preventing fabric bunching beneath the hips. The result is a classic wide straight silhouette that stays comfortable and visually balanced.
