Description

As the very first cap style released by the brand, this baseball cap has remained one of H.W.Dog&Co.’s long-standing classics.

The design is based on baseball caps from the 1860s, when baseball first began to gain popularity. The front features an original “D” patch taken from the first letter of “DOG,” while the leather adjuster at the back allows the fit to be adjusted.

The inside of the cap uses a traditional interlining known as “Moshin.” Before synthetic fibers existed, baseball caps used interlining made from horsehair or deer hair to make the fabric firmer and more durable. H.W.Dog&Co. also created a dedicated iron shaping mold for this cap, recreating the natural three-dimensional shape of early baseball caps.

From the leather sweatband with a gold-foil stamped brand logo to the Union Ticket inside, even the hidden details are carefully considered. This is a signature piece that fully represents H.W.Dog&Co.’s approach to cap making.
