Description
The “Rocketeer” Jacket takes its name from the early aeronautical research and rocketeering work carried out in California from the 1930s onward, which eventually helped shape the jet-propulsion technology still used by NASA today.
The reference points toward figures like Jack Parsons and the fascinating history of the so-called Suicide Squad, a group deeply connected to the early development of American rocketry.
The jacket pattern borrows from vintage gas station jackets, imagining the kind of piece a rocket mechanic might have worn both on and off the job.
Made from a 9oz canvas weave fabric with dark indigo warp and indigo weft, it has a clean waist-length silhouette with practical workwear details throughout.
