Over the course of a year, ONI developed another new denim.

It is a tough, rough, dark-colored indigo denim, structured with a thick thread which is twisted especially for this fabric, woven with low tension. Mr. Oishi-san named it "asphalt denim" because its texture is like an asphalt road. Oishi-san had received many compliments from those who have seen this denim in person. They say things like “amazing” “wonderful” “I definitely want one!” and so on. 

Due to the difficulty in making a Type II denim jacket, Oni had to hold off the design and make the Coverall this time around, this shows how uneven the denim is and how difficult it is to make garments with a heavyweight and Asphalt-like denim.

The 622 low-waist slim fit is the most popular version of the brand, emphasizing the slender tapered legs.
