【Shangri-La Heritage】“Dakota” Beige Navajo Cotton Blanket
Dakota Navajo Cotton Blanket Description
Inspired by the original Navajo designs from American Indians, this authentic blanket is made from yarn-dyed 100% pure recycled cotton.
Crafted in Italy, the “Dakota” Navajo Cotton Blanket features a triple-layer Jacquard weave and is brushed to achieve an exceptionally soft hand feel.
The historic period of Navajo rug weaving began in the early 1700s and lasted through the 1850s. Weavers, drawing influence from the Pueblo, Spanish, and traders, created blankets, dresses, rugs, and tapestries that laid the foundation for a significant artistic and cultural movement of the Navajo people.
The “Dakota” Navajo Cotton Blanket draws inspiration from late 1870s classic serape patterns as a tribute to the heritage and artistry of Navajo culture.
