【WYTHE】Alpaca Submariner Henley Vintage Navy
These henleys are one of those things Wythe really wanted to make themselves because they haven't seen them out there in a while, or at least not in the way they wanted to see them made.
These are based off the original, 1938 naval henley. For the new iteration, Wythe opened up the knit a bit more to make it feel less dense, a bit looser, and added some hand details for cleaner finishings. This henley uses the same gauge of yarn throughout the whole sweater, but in 3 different plies. These plies change in seamless transitions between the body, the collar, and the hems. And this is really where the handwork shines through.
This sweater is not only an amazing design, but Wythe thinks it's the perfect showcase of the talent these knitters have.
