WYTHE
【WYTHE】Japanese Wabash Stripe Moleskin Ranch Jacket - Charcoal Smoke
Description
Some of you may be familiar with what a Wabash Stripe is, and some may not. But if you’ve been with us for a while, you’ve definitely come across the technique behind it.
The Wabash Stripe is a discharge print, most commonly found on indigo-dyed fabrics, dating back to the 1850s and made famous by Stifel — one of the most renowned historic workwear manufacturers.
Wythe’s new iteration brings a fresh perspective to this classic. The brand developed its own discharge-printed moleskin, but unlike typical moleskin, this one is harder-wearing, with almost no nap on the surface, much closer to old French workwear moleskin fabrics. The dotted stripe pattern is finer and narrower than traditional Wabash, giving it a subtle salt-and-pepper appearance.
The Ranch Jacket is one of our favorite designs. Drawing inspiration from several denim jackets in Wythe’s westernwear archives, it’s cut to sit at the high hip with a slight crop—not overly short—and features an athletic-leaning fit rather than a slim one. Treat it the same way you would your favorite denim trucker jacket.

General Care & Precautions
Please note that all indigo product including raw denim can “bleed” causing the transfer of indigo blue color from your garments to other surface like white tshirt or light color shoes. The “bleeding” will lessen with wear and after first several washes.
We high recommend you to put all your cloth in a wash bag when doing laundry. Please never use tumble dry on quality goods; never use softener; never use detergent that contain bleach.
If possible, wash your cloth in a low-spin speed to protect the garment.
