Y'2 Leather】Deer Skin Black Grizzly Jacket 25AW Limited Edition
Description
Y'2 Leather's Deer Skin Grizzly Jacket is a special all-black leather jacket created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Grizzly model. Originally introduced in 2015, this 25AW edition is limited to only 100 pieces worldwide, showcasing the brand’s exceptional craftsmanship and its use of premium natural materials.
Based on the classic Grizzly Jacket design, this anniversary model refines the silhouette with a fully unified black finish and upgraded winter-ready construction. The outer shell is made from black-dyed deerskin sourced from Fujioka Yukichi Honten, preserving the leather’s natural character while offering an impressive balance of softness, lightness, and strength. At approximately 1.8mm thick, the leather still feels remarkably supple and comfortable, with a softness that wears almost like a sweater. Because the production process is highly complex, this series is only made for anniversary releases, making the 25AW version an especially rare collector’s piece.
Grizzly Jacket
The design stays true to the Grizzly Jacket’s signature shape while introducing several thoughtful refinements. A fully blacked-out presentation brings a sharper and more modern look, while the upgraded quilted construction improves warmth and makes the jacket more practical for winter wear.
The Leather
Instead of the horsehide commonly seen in traditional leather jackets, this model uses deerskin for its softer drape, lighter feel, and easier day-to-day wear. Finished in deep black, the leather gives the jacket a mature, understated, and quietly sophisticated character. Naturally rich in oils, this black-dyed deerskin also offers solid durability and a degree of resistance to rain even without frequent conditioning, while maintaining excellent comfort on the body.
Lining
The body is lined with British wool for warmth, while the sleeves use quilted nylon lining for easier layering and smoother wear.
Collar
The collar is finished with black-dyed mouton shearling, providing dense warmth and adding depth to the jacket’s all-black appearance.
