Description
The two-pleat style was originally permitted only for officers and higher ranks in the army. In particular, within GHQ, MacArthur was the only one known for wearing forward pleats.
The carefully designed curve of the forward pleats helps suppress bulging at the sides, while ironing moves the volume toward the front.
This piece is also made using Japanese tailoring techniques, creating a large inward curve that looks beautiful when worn. The generous curve is an excellent technique that allows the silhouette to appear straight on the body.
