ONI-222 Low Tension uses vintage shuttle looms that have been in service for decades to bring back a classic old timer denim pants similar to those from the 1950s. Mr. Oishi, the director of the brand, not only specializes in the innovation of rare fabrics, but also remains passionate about retro making, and adjust them through tailoring from time to time to make it relevant to modern daily scene. This particular combination of classic dark indigo denim with a contemporary straight fit makes it a perfect option for hotter days and a "wider ways" to style jeans.

With the traditional configuration of high waist and super wide straight legs, 222 fit focuses on the classic detail of a heritage denim, and cancels the N-shaped brand pocket arcuate design on the back pocket. The plain fabric makes the appearance more minimalistic, and at the same time strengthens the matching possibilities with various items and styles. The super wide trousers provide afluent space for movement, which can effectively reduce the discomfort caused by humidity and heat in Taiwan's subtropical climate. If you're wearing this in a dry climate, it will give you an unprecedented experience if you are new to wide jeans. But if you are coming from a slim pants family. Don't easily try this as it might be wider than you've imagined. 

The irregular fabric texture endowed by the old shuttle loom is endlessly fascinating. Comparing with other eye-catching and flamboyant innovative fabrics by ONI, this fabric is relatively more uniform in appearance. The 15oz fabric itself is a moderate weight for wide jeans. It can be worn at any time of the year. Mix your style up however you like or simply wear it to your office as a summer pants.
