Description
Momotaro Jeans' standard line uses 14.7oz TOKUNO BLUE selvedge denim, a proprietary mid-tension fabric renowned for its deep indigo warp dye and textured handfeel.
Made from 100% organic Zimbabwe cotton (hand-picked for long staple purity), this sanforized raw denim features TOKUNO indigo-dyed warp threads with natural weft for vibrant highs/lows fading, minimal shrinkage (<1%), and balanced rigidity that softens beautifully over time.
Ring Dye
Everybody heard of rope-dyed denim or rope-dyed jeans. But the real aim is to create the “Ring Dye” effect.
The "ring dye" effect is a hallmark of premium denim achieved through indigo rope dyeing, where dye coats only the outer layers of yarn fibers, leaving the white core exposed for iconic fading.
A regular indigo denim yarn is dipped 8-12 times in an indigo batch on average. Whilst some denim may be dipped 16-20 times. Momotaro is known for dyeing their yarn 29-30 times to create a super dark indigo blue.
410 Fit
410 WIDE WOMENS is a super wide model designed to balance feminime body shape in mind. It features a wide-straight silhouette with a relaxed feeling throug the thighs and almost no taper below the knees.
The moderately high rise and curved waistband follow the natural lines of female body, hugging the hips beautifully for a comfortable and flattering fit.
Designed with a pattern aimed to achieve comfortable wear and a beautiful silhouette. 410 is designed to not only enhance the wearer's appearance but also the gracefulness in their movements.

Notes
- Hemming will take 3~4 working days.
- Once an item is been hemmed, it will not be eligible for return or refund.
- For the length on sanforized raw denim, it is recommend to add 2-3cm in length considering the shrinkage after first wash.
- For unsanforized denim, we normally would offer them in rinsed condition, hence there is no need to consider shrinkage.
