Description
Cotton pants that have been used as military trousers since the 1940s are reinterpreted here as tailored slacks.
Based on the trousers worn by American officers, the straight fabric panels are carefully shaped with an iron using Japanese tailoring techniques. This allows the pants to follow the body beautifully and create a clean, refined line.
The yarn comes from the final stage of the brand’s American project, using No. 16 and No. 12 yarns. Barnstormer is particular about old-fashioned single yarns, and by weakening the twist of the yarn, the fabric is finished with a thick yet supple texture.
The appearance is casual, but the construction is rooted in true tailoring.
