"Watch cap" was originally used by the U.S. Navy. The coverage can be adjusted freely. It has a good thermal effect and does not interfere with the line of sight. Since 1930, the appearance has not changed much, and it has become a very practical accessory in life.
100% worsted wool, woven with a completely different stitch from knitted sweaters, it feels more comfortable and soft.
Knit from our tried and true US spun worsted wool, we are proud to offer the Dehen Wool Knit Watch Cap. These caps are knit using an alternative stitch to our sweaters giving them a softer more forgiving hand. The term "watch cap" was coined by sailors, who often wore these caps to keep warm while on their watch. As we look back on the late William Dehen's service in the US Navy, we found it a fitting addition to our offering.
