MOMOTARO
OTARO】#400 Wave Jaguard Wide Straight Jeans
Description
MOMOTARO #400 Wave Jaguar Denim is based on the brand’s proprietary 11oz “TOKUNO BLUE” raw denim. The custom made denim combined Momotaro's signature deep indigo color and unique three-dimensional wave-pattern weave.
The fabric is made from 100% Zimbabwe cotton for the warp and a specially constructed weft to create the distinctive wave-like surface texture. Compared with MOMOTARO’s STANDARD 14.7oz denim, the 11oz fabric feels lighter and more breathable.
The fabric has been sanforized to minimize shrinkage while retaining the crisp, structured feel of raw denim. With extended wear and washing, the darker areas will gradually develop natural fading, while the depth and texture of the wave jacquard weave become increasingly pronounced.
The jeans are entirely made in Japan using selvedge denim woven on traditional shuttle looms, and are finished with classic MOMOTARO details such as a cowhide leather patch. Rather than focusing purely on the weight and heft of raw denim, this model places greater emphasis on dimensional texture, deep indigo tones, and a lighter, more comfortable wearing experience.
400 Fit
The #400 is the most relaxed wide-fit model. The wide straight silhouette is based on a relaxed thigh with a very gentle taper below the knee. The deep rise structure wraps loosely around the waist.
Notes
- Hemming will take 2~4 working days.
- Once an item is been hemmed, it will not be eligible for return or refund.
- For the length on sanforized raw denim, it is recommend to add 2-3cm in length considering the shrinkage after first wash.
- For unsanforized denim, we normally offer them in rinsed (one-washed) condition, hence there is no need to consider shrinkage.
