We always recommend six months of daily wear for all dry denim. And with Dry Deluxe, we cannot stress this enough. This tightly woven, full-width, heavyweight twill is packed with starch. Washing them too early causes unwanted, sharp contrasting wear marks and vertical lines. If they need a freshen-up, hang outside. Remove stains by gently pressing a damp cloth — no rubbing. Or go for a soak or rinse. When the day comes, wash with the spin cycle set to low, and remove them as soon as the machine stops.
The subtle slubs, the ring-spun warp, and weft yarns give the denim a well-balanced texture with evident twill lines and a rough hand. With wear and wash, you'll get a satisfying marble texture in unabraded areas and pronounced where there are abrasions with slight yarn slub and salt and pepper grain. When pure indigo-dyed denim ages, the hue turns into a clearer blue. We are excited to offer the Dry Deluxe and cannot wait to see it worn in.
