A true 12.1oz dry denim wonder that pays tribute to the denim of the 1950s, with irregularities in both warp and weft. True to history, it is constructed from ring-spun warp and weft yarns with variations in thickness, as was often the case with workwear fabrics of the time.

It also stays true to its heritage with a dark, but not blackish, indigo warp that is half-dyed in pure indigo, giving it a rich, deep tone. Protruding neps and dyed weft yarns further add to the unique character of this denim.

With wear, wash, and patience, the yarns will interact, and you will begin to see the rewards this denim offers: evident slubs, a pleasing crosshatch pattern, and rich warp streakiness.

It is the irregular yarns in both warp and weft that create the crosshatch effect, while the built-in tension of the yarns produces a marble-like effect after washing. Since the weft yarns are dyed in a shade that sits between yellow and grey, washing this pair of jeans will maintain the rich blue hue while producing an appearance that subtly flirts with a green cast.
