This fabric is considered a lighter version of the "Super Rough" but features a darker indigo hue, making these jeans versatile for many occasions. Despite its lighter weight, the Crushed Concrete Denim maintains a relatively subdued yet distinctive appearance compared to its heavier 20oz counterparts, offering comfort for year-round wear.

Typically, achieving a pronounced slub effect in denim with a mid to high weight under 16oz is challenging due to the limitations imposed by yarn thickness, or yarn count. Mr. Oishi-san, the owner of ONI, has masterfully created CCD with an unprecedented level of texture that cannot be simply defined as slubby or neppy. The yarns are custom made at small historical spinning mills, their expertise has made it possible to produce high quality yarns that the major companies were unable to produce. Through a special blend of cotton, a new, secretive type of yarn was developed specifically for this innovative fabric.

To describe its organic appearance, terms like gravel or granite come to mind, but 'crushed concrete' is just one way to express the unique characteristics of this denim. There's definitely more to explore with this fabric, whose fading potential and the depth of structure promise an unparalleled wearing experience.
