Over the past two decades, MOMOTARO JEANS has built a strong reputation in the global denim scene with its deep indigo fabrics, rugged texture, and signature white battle stripes. The Classic series carries this legacy forward, continuing the brand’s story from Okayama, much like the timeless legend of Momotaro itself.
The Standard series is Momotaro Jeans’ answer to modern denim, combining Zimbabwe cotton, high-density weaving, and TOKUNO BLUE deep indigo dye to create Japanese jeans that balance traditional craftsmanship with contemporary wearability.
Momotaro Jeans’ “Tokuno Blue” denim represents over two decades of accumulated expertise in deep rope-dyeing. By increasing warp yarn density and dramatically reducing the exposure of white weft yarns, the fabric achieves an exceptionally dark and saturated indigo appearance.
