This regular-fit denim jacket is crafted from 13oz organic selvedge denim woven exclusively at Yamaishi Textile Mill in Okayama Prefecture, Japan. A time capsule from the distant past, its awe-inspiring vintage look is the ultimate expression of denim.

This regular-fit denim jacket features two exterior pockets and a straight back. Crafted from organic Japanese selvedge denim from Toyoshima, it's accented with custom copper hardware inspired by American vintage. Two rainbow selvedge styles, 'Black' and 'Blue', explore Nudie Jeans' enduring love for denim. This piece reflects Nudie's passion for the ever-evolving soul of denim. Nudie is very particular about sourcing denim, carefully selecting most fabrics, yet certain denims fall in love with at first sight. Visually appealing features include an almost black indigo warp with a distinct off-white weft, a perfectly irregular structure, and a slightly roughened surface. Its tactile appeal lies in its rough twill structure, balanced starch, and rich, three-dimensional depth. Both the warp and weft are ring-spun from unbleached organic cotton. The warp is dip-dyed 11 times with pure indigo, while the weft retains its natural cotton color and a soft texture. The fabric's structure and feel are the result of low tension during weaving, perfectly capturing the texture of mid-20th-century denim, with prominent cotton fibers remaining on the surface, giving it a rough feel. This loose weaving process adheres to the high standards of the past, from weaving to finishing, and especially the craftsmanship behind it, resulting in this denim's stunning vintage look.
