Mister Freedom Brand Introduction
Mister Freedom, an internationally renowned vintage store and its namesake brand, is located in California. It was opened in 2003 by French-American Christophe Loiron. The store in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles serves as a retail space, headquarters, and creative studio.
Mister Freedom's creativity and innovation in producing vintage clothing are unmatched. Behind this is the painstaking effort of the owner, who has read and researched countless vintage pieces. Each piece of clothing is a collector's item, perfectly crafted by master craftsmen from Japan and the United States, making it a worthy investment and long-term collection.
Christophe, the designer and founder, embodies this philosophy: "Building upon real historical backdrops, with original storylines and clothing worn by original fictional characters, MSFC's mission is not to recreate vintage pieces from the original era, but to create garments that could have appeared in history but never did." Each piece of clothing carries its own story and owner, a vision often lacking in modern clothing. Christophe's passion for raw denim and military workwear has led him to collaborate with Toyo Enterprises (Sugar Cane Co./Buzz Rickson) in Japan since 2006. Most of the garments utilize premium, exclusive, NOS fabrics from Japan, and the stitching is performed by master craftsmen with varying expertise in both the US and Japan, resulting in unparalleled detail.
