In 1951, founder William Dehen crafted the first Dehen varsity jacket, featuring the brand’s original roll collar design. More than seventy years later, Dehen 1920 continues to faithfully recreate the classic pieces of the past century by hand.
The body is made from 24oz Melton wool, tightly woven on vintage machines for a dense hand feel that resists pilling. All ribbing is 100% worsted wool, slowly knit on old looms for a soft, non-itchy texture even on sensitive skin—proof of the brand’s craftsmanship. The sleeves are made of premium vegetable-tanned top-grain leather that will develop a rich patina over time. The signature high roll collar can be flipped up for wind and cold protection, ensuring durability and warmth for decades of wear.
