【CARPASUS】Overshirt Abaca – Olive
Description
Is this overshirt made from bananas? Not exactly. It is crafted from Bananatex®, a textile made purely from the fibers of the abacá banana plant. The result is a unique natural fabric with a clean look, soft touch, and excellent everyday functionality.
Bananatex® is compostable and biodegradable, while also being naturally antibacterial, UV resistant, and durable. Its twill construction gives the overshirt a substantial yet comfortable feel, making it a versatile layer for daily wear.
The abacá plants are grown in a permaculture environment in the Philippines, then woven into fabric in Taiwan. The overshirt is sewn and dyed in Portugal, with design and development carried out in Switzerland, reflecting a thoughtful and responsible production process from fiber to finished garment.

General Care
Never use tumble dry on quality goods; never use softener; never use detergent that contain bleach.
If possible, always wash on the light cycle / gentle cycle or delicate cycleto prolong the garment life.
Please note that all indigo product including raw denim can “bleed” causing the transfer of indigo blue color from your garments to other surface like white Tshirt or light color shoes. The “bleeding” will lessen with wear and after first several washes. Wash dark jeans with dark cloth to avoid issues.
