This season ONI Denim listened to its audience and came up with a medium weight ecru white jeans for summer. The fabric chosen for style does not have the heavyweight property or slubiness as some other signature ONI pieces. As we have carried many different types of white pants, we can’t help but to agree that not all pants have to be characteristically distinctive in bumpiness. Some styles simply work better when weighing towards the classic side of things, the ONI ECRU is one of the case here.
The fabric sits at a 12.4oz weight that works perfectly comfortable for warmer seasons. Though the fabric looks rigid and vintage, the hand is soft and you can feel immediate comfort when put on. To name a thing that resonates with ONI’s design philosophy is that the fabric looks completely random when looking up close. Usually an ecru selvedge denim would only have a little amount of cotton seed flecks popping up here and there with quite consistent appearance. The ONI ECRU denim has quite an abundance of flecks spreading all over the surface, the expression on this fabric is full of fun with a certain degree of vagueness that you won’t ever feel trypophobia at all. So good news is – despite the speckled look, it somehow feels all natural and visually appealing.
ONI 271 fit
The ONI 271 is based on ONI 270 with the necessary adjustment to match the grading on this specific denim. The new 270 fit is an updated regular straight cut with a comfortable high-rise, the rise is slightly higher compared to 288. It offers a classic, timeless silhouette with a bit more room in the thigh than 288, flowing straight down from the knee. The leg opening is slightly narrower than 288. This subtle tapered effect results in a clean straight look. 270 is versatile for wearing smart or casual, pairing well with almost any type of shoes. It has a relaxed but tailored look that is suitable for most body types.
How much does ONI jeans stretch in the waist?
ONI Secret Denim will stretch out fairly fast so you can expect it to stretch at least 1 inch after first day to 1 week of wear. It will stretch up to 1.5 inch in the waist with about 30 wears.

Go up at least 2 sizes from major US brands. Usually the same or go down 1 size from other Japanese brands.

Notes
- Hemming will take 3~4 working days.
- Once an item is been hemmed, it will not be eligible for return or refund.
- For the length on sanforized raw denim, it is recommend to add 2-3cm in length considering the shrinkage after first wash.
- For unsanforized denim, we normally would offer them in rinsed condition, hence there is no need to consider shrinkage.
