Working with the best knitting facilities and producers in Japan industry. Behind this fabric there is a group of master minds with extensive knowledge and experience.
This fabric is knitted on a valuable Japanese loopwheel knitting machine with a low-tension set. Aiming to create a unique roughness texture similar to denim. By combining a custom open-end yarns with several original finishing processes, the 8.0 oz. loopwheeled jersey used for this T-shirt is then created.
The foundation of T-shirt is based on intense study of vintage T-shirt from the 50s. The ways a T-shirt and sweatshirts is sewn back then, and the distinctive details of that era has been blended into this piece of work.
It features the details of the precious 50s vintage T-shirt with wide sleeves, custom needle-out ribs, and makes full use of techniques such as ironing that are not normally used in T-shirt production. To iron a 7cm wide folded tubular rib hem perfectly and then aligned for sewing with double needel stitch required exceptional skills.
These results of craftsmanship is made possible and realized by veteran craftsmen only.
It is an 8.0 oz T-shirt that can be said to be the result of collective Japanese craftsmanship.
