Inspired by the business Musette, the Chiloé backpack embodies Bleu de Chauffe’s new classic utilitarian chic. Designed for urban travel, workdays, or trips on two wheels, Chiloé combines the precision of a classic bag with a free, outdoor-inspired look.

The Chiloé backpack is made from British Millerain cotton serge canvas, a 590 g/m² fabric renowned for its durability and weather resistance. This high-quality canvas protects your belongings while offering a stylish weave that feels soft to the touch.

The vegetable-tanned leather handles, straps, and details add a refined touch while also strengthening the bag.

With its multiple pockets, Chiloé has the feel of a modern photojournalist’s bag, designed to carry daily essentials such as a laptop, charger, notebook, and cables. It is equipped with a protective felt pocket for computers up to a 16" MacBook Pro.

You can also slip in a tablet or magazine, while an interior zipped cotton canvas pocket completes the internal layout. Under the front flap, two exterior pockets provide convenient storage for a wallet, computer cables, and other small accessories.

To protect the contents from the weather, the flap closes with a tuck lock clasp engraved with the Bleu de Chauffe name, combining artisanal elegance with practical function.

You can carry it by the handles for a more refined look, while the felt-lined shoulder straps provide all-day comfort.

Materials

The Chiloé is made from British Millerain canvas, an exceptional high-tech twill fabric coated with dry wax. This finish offers natural protection against rain, abrasion, and everyday wear. Like leather, the canvas will develop an attractive patina over time, gradually revealing its natural character with each use.

The details are made from vegetable-tanned full-grain leather. Naturally sturdy and expressive, this leather develops a beautiful patina that reflects your own use over time.

Single Artisan Manufacturing

At Bleu de Chauffe, there are no production lines. Each Chiloé is made by the same artisan from start to finish, who then dates and signs the bag.

All of Bleu de Chauffe's artisans are fully qualified and renowned for their precision, experience, and skill.
