Description
Regular fit jeans with a straight leg made in rigid denim with felled seam at both in- and outseam. These mid-blue jeans are made from an absolutely lovely Broken Twill denim that, with its mid-blue indigo warp, is reminiscent of the ' 70s. The wash has rendered a gorgeous blue shade with a subtle hint of warmth. Soft abrasions and slight but contrasting wear marks add an authentic worn-in look. The texture of the denim is excellent, too, solid but with a fine grainness that adds finesse. Look closely, and you will see that these jeans are made from Broken Twill. If you try them on, you will also feel the softness that Broken Twill offers.
Broken Twill is an alternation of the twill weaving pattern. A regular twill has a diagonal structure, whereas a Broken Twill has an altering direction of the twill pattern. Looking closely on a Broken Twill you'll see a zig-zag structure. Back in the day, Broken Twill was developed to counteract the, at the time, inevitable leg-twist that regular denim was synonymous with. Broken Twill also came with another benefit; it came out softer and more comfortable, which, apart from its aesthetics, is an excellent reason for using it.
