【Shangri-La Heritage】“Dakota” Navajo Cotton Pillowcase
Description
Inspired by the original Navajo designs from American Indians, this authentic Pillowcase is made by yarn-dyed 100% pure Recycled Cotton.
Crafted in Italy, the “Dakota” Navajo Cotton Pillowcase is made with a triple layer Jacquard Weaving that has been brushed to get a real soft Hand Feel.
The historic period of Navajo rug weavings really began in the very early 1700s and ran all the way to the 1850s. Weavers, learning from the Pueblos, Spanish and traders, created blankets, dresses, rugs and tapestries that have set the foundation for what has been a momentous artistic and cultural movement for the Navajo people.
The “Dakota” Navajo Cotton Pillowcase is inspired by late 1870’s classic serape textiles and it’s a tribute to the Heritage of Navajo Culture.
