Description
As Mr. Oishi of ONI Denim specializes in fabric design, his new creation, “Old Blue,” is clearly inspired by vintage denim, mimicking the appearance of natural indigo-dyed fabrics from the past. Since natural indigo contains impurities, it is often difficult to achieve the dark indigo shade commonly found in modern denim.
To recreate this color, the yarns are rope-dyed with fewer dips in the indigo vat. With the addition of a secret amount of sulfur dye, the uniquely tinted “Old Blue” is born. Its distinctive blue shade resembles the color of lake water found among glacial mountains.
222 Fit
The ONI 222 is crafted in a super-wide straight silhouette with a high-rise waist, offering a roomy yet structured fit with a visually bold character. The extra-wide leg opening provides effortless movement and improved airflow, making it ideal for modern and contemporary styling. It also pairs naturally with vintage-inspired Americana tops.
Despite its generous volume, the silhouette maintains a clean and straight appearance.

Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat.
Notes
- Hemming will take 3~4 working days.
- Once an item is been hemmed, it will not be eligible for return or refund.
- For the length on sanforized raw denim, it is recommend to add 2-3cm in length considering the shrinkage after first wash.
- For unsanforized denim, we normally would offer them in rinsed condition, hence there is no need to consider shrinkage.
