DESCRIPTION
The BDD-711 Black+Ecru, inspired by jeans from the 1950's-60's with a modern approach to adapting vintage elements and fits. This mid-high rise is designed to be worn toward the natural waist on a variety of body types, providing plenty of room in the seat and thigh area for comfort, with a gracefully tapered leg that ends with a narrow hem to slim and complement the silhouette.
The Black+Ecru 14 oz. right hand twill is a Collect Mills Japanese selvedge denim, made from US grown cotton in a medium weight and moderate tension weave. The black sulfur dyed warp with a natural ecru weft will provide vintage style fading in shades of gray as the natural core gets revealed when worn through repeated wears and washes. In this versatile denim, paired to our exclusive vintage-inspired tapered fit, these black jeans will become comfortable and timeless all-season favorites once broken-in.
A Benzak is clearly identifiable as a highly finished jean with exceptional consideration applied to each detail: a real brass button fly and hardware, 10 oz. chambray pocket bags, contrast copper colored thread, chainstitched and bartack reinforced throughout with lap and seven different thread weights used for an elevated build. Finally, we used a natural vegetable tanned and debossed graphic leather patch to commemorate this collaboration with character, making these jeans markedly unforgettable. The BDD-711 is by far one of our favorite fit devess stories, and proves that when you combine obsession, knowledge, Dutch design sensitivity and artisan Japanese production, you get an item that clearly distinguishes itself from the herd.
